Hi all! Thank you so much for getting involved with this awesome community project. I have lived in and around Norwich for most of my life and I am so in love with our city, its community, and the food we produce. One because I love to eat but also because I love the process of making and creating recipes!

A bit about me. Well, I am very arty and love to work in creative environments. I've had a very interesting and varied career, most recently working in schools as an art and science technician which if you think about it, encompasses the chemistry and craft required to prepare delicious recipes. Having been raised in a family where good quality food was never wasted, I helped to prepare foods to be preserved and stored for later use or to be given as gifts. I am so happy to be back into this role, it feels good being useful at 'Kitchen At Home'.

The Producer in the spotlight

Welcoming a new producer to Kitchen At Home is a very exciting time. This is the marking of the expansion of our community and what we can offer to our customers, building on what we have in our remarkable city. I'm pleased to announce that we are now working alongside Norwich Mustard.

A little word from the company themselves:

Hello and welcome to What The Hook Creations, the home of all things crochet. My name is Emma and I have always loved crafting and creating. My passion for crochet came about when I found out I was going to be an auntie. I knew I wanted to give my new niece something she could use and love, hopefully for as long as possible. I taught myself to crochet and made her a blanket, I've had a hook in my hand every chance I can since.

The endless possibilities mean I'm never bored and I've always got new ideas to experiment with. It's important to me that everything is customisable as we are all different and one size does not fit all!
Size, colour, design, and materials are all things that can be discussed and customised.
I am passionate about being eco friendly and not using plastic packaging. I look forward to creating the perfect bespoke squishy items especially for you.

We'd love to hear from you
